Park Plaza Berlin Hotel

Location.

Small rooms, the room (we had 112) has not been renovated for a long time, photos of the hotel are not true, uncomfortable hair dryer, bad water pressure in the shower.

Everything's fine. The bed's very comfortable. Breakfast for all tastes.

Not full range of the dishes indicated in menu can be provided in restaurant. Internet is not a high speed as anounced.

This was almost a last minute reservation but I've had my eye on the hotel for a while. The stay was really good and I loved the breakfast buffet (fresh and warm croissants hmmmm)! As others have mentioned before, there is a construction site in the facilities but it didn't trouble us too much. And then there was the benefit that the hotel had complementary ear plugs for guests. The location is amazing, lots of bars, restaurants and shops in the area (just go up the Uhlandstrasse). Also, there's no problem in getting a taxi or even finding an atm machine. The U-bahn is just up that street too. And I would definitely return to this hotel!

The only little problem we had was with breakfast on sunday, it looked like everyone wanted it at the same time, which meant not enough tables, not enough cups, plates and the likes. We did get a table pretty quickly, but we had to wait an additional 5 to 10 minutes to get cups and the likes (and when we got it, they were warm from the dishwasher). I must point out that there was never any lack of food. The staff were running around like crazy, trying to attend to everyone the best they could, always very friendly and nice. I actually felt a bit sorry for them because it's not their fault if, apparently, the number of staff isn't enough for so many guests...

We enjoyed its good hot and delicious breakfasts!

Had immaculately clean double room with a double bed and wake-up service was available in it. Had a safe, an iron and an electronic key card. The location was marvellous and decent, not too far away from a famous West Berlin thoroughfare.

Every day i've asked for a new voucher for the Internet. When we arrived from the card draw out commission 20 euros per day in case something happens ... (wtf?)

In general - worthy hotel. Qualitative bathroom equipment. Stylish and blank rooms. Practically in the center of Berlin. В общем и целом - достойный отель. Качественная сантехника. Стильные и чистые номера. Практически в центре Берлина.

In a bathroom there is no place to put soap. Inconvenient hair dryer. At arrival blocked on the card of 40 euro. Probably on a case of damage of property? В ванной комнате некуда положить мыло. Неудобный фен. При заезде заблокировали на карте 40 евро. Видимо на случай порчи имущества?

The aircon did not work- they gave is a fan. The window bloxk outs were electronic and got stuck: we had to move room at 1 am. The carpets felt grimey

its was completely different on photo and in real.....its terrible hotel, maximum 2 stars...

It was just an ideal choice for a weekend stopover in Berlin with high value for money. The lobby was deserted at 3:00 AM, and I felt uneasy about security. Make sure to check if the internet works before you settle in.

Clean place with good views and marvellous location in the center of West Berlin. Comfortable rooms and AWESOME staff members despite all my efforts.

Rooms are very nicely designed; big enough for a short stay city trip and very quite. Carpets, furnuture, beds are all new and comfortable. Staff are very well trained, very kind, they all speak excellent English and very helpfull for all kind of inquires. Breakfeast-buffet is a bit expensive compered to nearby coffees but quite rich and served in a very nice settings. Only inconvenies: for visiting old Berlin you have to take transport and nearest underground is some 500 metres away, thogh it is a pleasant road for window-shopping and full of lively coffees. Overall, we recomend this hotel to everyone who wants some comfort for a good price in a good location.
